1. I’ve always wanted to be a ballroom-hip-hop dancer.

3. Although I’m a SoCal girl, I have lived most of my adult life in the east coast (Boston, Washington D.C., and Maryland)

Athletic Background: I played basketball in middle school and was part of a flag team in high school. I’m also a pretty good dancer ☺
Go-to class time: 5:30 PM
How did you learn about CrossFit? One of my best friends has been doing CrossFit for about 5 years.
How has CrossFit RXD changed your life? I’m much more confident and stronger emotionally, mentally, and physically. I am a much happier person now.
Short term goals: To run my first half-marathon, the St. Jude’s half-marathon in Memphis, TN, and raise $1500 by December 1st in memory of my sister Erika.
Long term goals: To be able to do an actual pull-up, full snatch, and get to the top of the pegboard.
Favorite movement: Wall Walks and Wall Balls
Least favorite movement: Pushups
Favorite healthy meal: Before being vegan, lemon shrimp with angel hair pasta and a salad. As a vegan: Mushroom calamari and gnocchi with marinara sauce from Civico in San Diego.
Favorite cheat meal: Pizza, bread, chips & salsa, any dessert, fries, enchiladas, and pozole.
Current book you’re reading: The Universe has your back by Gabrielle Bernstein
Hobbies outside of CrossFit: Dancing, cooking, reading, and building/putting together furniture
Life Achievements: First person in my family to graduate from high school, receive a bachelors, and receive two masters.
I am passionate about: Dance, new experiences, meeting new people, education, children, and kindness towards others.

Describe RXD in your own words: Besides attending Boston University, joining CrossFit RXD has been the best decision of my life. I have met, been encouraged, and inspired by such an amazing group of people that push me to be a better me every time I come to RXD. I am so thankful to every single person in the OLY and Renegade classes for their unconditional support. I have met the best training partner and friend, Yesy Aguirre, at RXD. I am now living a new lifestyle as a vegan. I have slowly begun to regain my confidence and I’m building a new life for myself. I have a completely new outlook in life and look forward to the new adventures life has planned for me. My life has completely transformed by the amazing community that is RXD and I am nothing but filled with GRATITUDE.
