LEAN-4-LIFE NUTRITIONAL PROGRAM: TIP OF THE DAY
SHORT TERM DIETS ARE NO GOOD!
Fad short term diets can be detrimental for keeping off the fat long term as they have a tendency to affect hormonal balances in the body. Numerous studies have shown that these hormonal imbalances cause hunger and cravings. Don’t just think that because you stop your diet, your hunger and cravings will cease… oh no, even months after your “diet” these hormones can still be out of sync. This means you will eat more and still be craving! This can often lead to a higher weight than when the “diet” was originally started. Serial dieters often have spiralling weight issues.
- “Dieting” leads to hormonal imbalances
- Often those who “diet” have a higher weight one year after the diet than they did when they originally began
- “Dieting” leaves you with hormone imbalances that cause food cravings. Those same food cravings can be with you for up to a year after the diet has finished!
NO GYM THIS SATURDAY OR SUNDAY
RXD is hosting a USAW Olympic Weightlifting Clinic this Saturday and Sunday, therefore there will not be any classes on Saturday and Sunday.
