Coach Bryan takes 2nd in the Maters Division at the OC Throwdown.

A few notes from Coach Bryan about this weekend’s OC Throwdown:

That was one hell of a weekend.  The six brutal workouts challenged my capabilities, strength and skills.  But I had a secret weapon that helped me persevere through the pain and  exhaustion.  My FAMILY!  My RXD FAMILY.  Each time I took center stage to begin a challenge, I saw so many RXD sweatshirts along the fence line and heard the screams of encouragement.  During each workout as I became fatigued, I would hear the announcer mention my name and the name of OUR gym and I would hear MY FAMILY screaming.  I knew you were there.  I heard your shouts and screams to keep going, to push through the pain and I was able to do so, in part because of each of you.  So many of you came out to support me and represent OUR gym it was amazing.  The ones that weren’t able to come to the event sent me many messages of support and encouragement.  This event and the support of each of you has reminded me why I love this sport, this fitness program, this way of life.  It’s the amazing CrossFit community.  I love my FAMILY.  My hope is that you walk away from this weekend with a new sense of motivation.  If I have inspired or given encouragement to any of you then it was all completely worth it.  I hope each of you will start this week with a goal.  Any goal, to compete, to get a new PR, to lose those last few pounds or to learn a new technique or movement.  Whatever it is, work hard, follow through and you will accomplish it.

The CrossFit Open starts in eight short weeks!

Love you guys,

Coach Bryan
